FREE. The easternmost point of mainland Australia, with a lighthouse walk that regularly turns up dolphins and, between June and October, whales. PARKING IN TOWN IS EXPENSIVE AND SCARCE in summer. UV IS THE REAL HAZARD HERE, not heat. The index passes 11 through summer and unprotected skin burns in about ten minutes. Hat, shirt and shade, not just water.
