An uninhabited island that was the sacred birthplace of Apollo and one of the great ports of the Aegean - mosaics, the Terrace of the Lions, a whole city. UNESCO listed. BOAT ONLY, roughly 30 minutes from Mykonos, and the last boat back is early. No shade and nowhere to buy water: take both.
