The whale-watching capital of Europe, with sighting rates well above 90% in season - humpbacks reliably, and blue whales occasionally, which is close to unique. SEASON IS ROUGHLY APRIL TO OCTOBER. Traditional oak schooners cost more than the RIBs and are far more comfortable in swell.
