What to know

FREE. Fourteen kilometres of cliff up to 440m high, the westernmost point in Europe, and one of the largest seabird colonies in the world. THE PUFFINS HERE ARE UNUSUALLY UNAFRAID and will sit a metre away - which is why people edge closer to the drop for a photograph and why people have fallen. Stay back from the lip; the edge is undercut turf, not rock. Puffins present roughly May to mid-August only.
