UNESCO listed. A high Himalayan meadow that flowers for a few weeks a year and is under snow the rest of the time. OPEN ROUGHLY JUNE TO EARLY OCTOBER AND CLOSED OTHERWISE - and the flowers peak in late July and August, which is also the wettest and most landslide-prone time. A 17km trek from the road head.
