What to know

The park and the moats are free; the keep charges. THE KEEP IS A 1931 CONCRETE RECONSTRUCTION WITH A LIFT IN IT, which disappoints people expecting Himeji - the museum inside is good and the view from the top is worth it, but go to Himeji for the real thing. Free for under-15s. The park is one of Osaka's best blossom spots.
