The best-known floating market, ninety minutes from Bangkok, and now largely staged for visitors - prices in the boats are several times the mainland. GO EARLY; it is over by eleven. Amphawa, on Friday to Sunday evenings, is more genuinely local. AGREE THE BOAT PRICE BEFORE BOARDING.
