FREE. An extinct volcano 251m high in the middle of the city, about 45 minutes up, with the whole of Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth from the top. IT IS A REAL HILL - proper shoes, and it is exposed and slippery in wet weather. The Salisbury Crags path below is the easier alternative.
