A reconstruction of the 1599 theatre, built with oak pegs and lime plaster and no artificial lighting. THE STANDING TICKETS IN THE YARD ARE THE CHEAPEST THEATRE IN LONDON and the best place to watch from - you stand for three hours in the open air and it rains sometimes. Performance season is roughly April to October; tours run year-round.
