STINGER SEASON runs roughly November to May: box jellyfish and irukandji make unprotected swimming genuinely dangerous. Swim inside the nets, in a stinger suit, or not at all.

The planner warns of wet in January, February, March. Outside those months it says nothing, which is the point — a warning that fires every day is one nobody reads.
