What to know

Naturally formed caves in the largest glacier in Europe, the ice compressed until it is genuinely blue. THEY EXIST ONLY IN WINTER - roughly November to March - because meltwater fills and destabilises them in summer, and each year's caves are different and must be re-scouted. GUIDED ONLY, and cancelled if the ice is judged unsafe.

Minimum age 8.
