FREE. Black basalt sand, hexagonal columns and sea stacks. THIS BEACH HAS KILLED SEVERAL VISITORS. Sneaker waves arrive without warning, far up the beach, and the undertow is immediate and fatal - there is now a warning light system. NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON THE SEA and stay well up the sand. Do not let children run ahead.
