UNESCO listed, and holds around two-thirds of the world's greater one-horned rhinoceros - sightings are close to guaranteed, which is unusual for Indian wildlife. CLOSED FOR THE MONSOON, roughly May to October, when the Brahmaputra floods the park and the animals move to higher ground.
