UNESCO listed. A 73m victory tower begun in 1193, and beside it an iron pillar that has stood in the open for around 1,600 years without rusting, which metallurgists still write papers about. An Archaeological Survey of India monument. Foreign, SAARC and Indian rates are all different and published separately - see finding 1. Tickets are cheaper booked online than at the gate.

When to go
