A UNESCO-listed grid of shophouses, clan houses and temples, with Ernest Zacharevic's murals scattered through it and wrought-iron cartoons on the walls. Free to walk. Armenian Street and Lebuh Chulia are the densest stretch. Start early - it is brutal by noon.
