One of the cheapest places in the world to certify as a diver, and consequently one of the busiest - it produces an enormous number of open-water certifications every year. CHOOSE THE SCHOOL ON SAFETY RECORD AND GROUP SIZE RATHER THAN PRICE; the cheapest quotes usually mean eight students to an instructor. Whale sharks pass through between March and May.
