THE BEST VALUE IN ICELAND BY A DISTANCE. Every town has a municipal geothermal pool with hot tubs at different temperatures, and they are where Icelanders actually socialise - a tenth the price of the branded lagoons. YOU MUST SHOWER NAKED AND THOROUGHLY BEFORE ENTERING; it is strictly enforced, posted in several languages, and the pools use very little chlorine because of it.
