FREE. One of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites, on an island reached by the Pamban bridge. The temple has the longest corridor of any in India at over 1,200 metres. Pilgrims bathe at twenty-two wells inside. Shoes must be removed. Socks are usually fine and shoe covers are sold at the gate.
