A Twin Otter on floats, flown by pilots in bare feet, and one of the great short flights anywhere - the atolls from 300m look like the photographs. IT IS ALSO A MAJOR AND UNAVOIDABLE COST, charged per person and often exceeding the international airfare for a family. SEAPLANES FLY IN DAYLIGHT ONLY, so a late arrival into Male means an overnight in the capital before you can reach the resort - which catches people out constantly. See finding 1.
