A genuine rescue sanctuary with no riding, no bathing with elephants and no shows - you observe and help prepare food. BOOKS OUT WEEKS AHEAD. THE DISTINCTION MATTERS ENORMOUSLY HERE: many operations calling themselves sanctuaries still offer riding or forced bathing, both of which require the same breaking process. If riding is on the menu, it is not a sanctuary. Ask directly before booking anywhere.
