A traverse of the Northern Alps by cable car, trolleybus, ropeway and foot, across a plateau where the snow is bulldozed into a corridor up to twenty metres deep in spring. CLOSED FROM DECEMBER TO MID-APRIL. The Snow Wall is at its best from mid-April to June. Expensive, all-day, and unlike anything else.
